The Collective Studio / GHYCZY

GHYCZY is a family heirloom, founded in 1971 by acclaimed architect and designer Peter Ghyczy who was later joined by his son Felix in 2001. The distinct GHYCZY aesthetic combines Bauhaus minimalism with exotic Art Deco patterns and intricate details from Egyptian antiquity.

GHYCZY aesthetic

After an inspiring and successful collaboration for project K60, The Collective Studio welcomed GHYCHY back to design custom-made furniture for project H242. We couldn’t be more proud of the result.

60s-inspired round sofa

The Collective Studio and GHYCHY designed a 60s-inspired round sofa, to compliment the earthy atmosphere of APT01, APT02 and APT03. The combination of steel and walnut gives this handcrafted piece of art a beautiful contrast. The off-white organic hemp fabric gives the sleek design a natural softness to match the serene homes of project H242.
