Three modern homes, hidden in classic beauty.

Surrounded by the Nine Streets Amsterdam’s famous neighborhood bursting with vintage and designershopping, speciality-stores and café’s and opposite the Hoxton Hotel, we’ve created three homes that are all about modern artistry.

Herengracht 242 holds a lot of stories. This classic canal house has been deemed a national monument and was originally built as a department store and warehouse in the year 1614. A century later, it became the home of well-known doctor and Dutch poet Jan Pieter Heije.

For project H242 The Collective Studio exclusively teamed up with Huizenmij BV, a family-owned real estate development company (est.1893) with whom we also successfully joined forces for project K60.

After three years of extensive renovation, H242 now has a completely new foundation. All the original details are preserved and restored to keep it’s authentic charm, while we strengthened and complimented the homes with modern innovation.

From custom-made floors, to, state-of-the-art domotica and from dining tables to bed-sheets, these three warm and natural-looking homes will be fully decorated in The Collective Studio style. For H242 we combine mid-century design classics with modern art to give you the best of both worlds.

The homes of 198 m2, 109m2 and 133 m2, will hit the market in December 2018.
